The C2 part of the short-term exchanges of groups of pupils project by Erasmus+: „Učíme sa pre život”, was realized in Hungary between 8th and 12th April 2019. The host was the „Szent Anna” Roman Catholic Primary School of Nyírtelek.
        – They visited a nicely reconstructed castle called „Boldogkő”. With the guide of a maid they playfully got acquainted not only with the castle, but the customs and etiquette of medieval times. They could learn and try the heavy weapons of those times thanks to the show of „real” knights. The groups continued the medieval trip to the village of Vizsoly. Inside a temple, which is almost a thousand years old, they could see the first printed Bible in Hungarian language. After they heard its history, the pupils could facsimile print the pages of the 429 years old Bible with the technic of that time.
        – Our guests woke up to the sound of wild animals and visited zoo of Nyiregyhaza. After the groups travelled to Nyírtelek. They got on bicycles and went to Varjúlapos which is part of Nyírtelek. There they met a severe historical place, memorials of the camps connected to the Second World War. They could hear the sad stories of Ukrainian patriots and the Hungarian jews imprisoned there. But the camp had a heart-warming period too, when Polish refugees lived here with help of the Hungarian government. The live lessons of history ended with the pupils laying flowers under the marble memorials. After that they managed a sightseeing tour in the city by horse-pulled carts. The tour ended at the „Kedvesház” dormitory, where disadvantageous children are taught. While the teachers got acquainted with the special pedagogical program of the institution, the children of the Kedvesház played with the guests. At the end of the professional program for the teachers, the pupils were singing and dancing in the courtyard, without linguistic obstacles.
        – Visited the the primary school.  The children and teachers participated on various activities: lessons, pedagogical work. They discussed questions with the Hungarian colleagues. The groups travelled to a traditional chocolate factory in Szerencs. They learnt  the history of the chocolate factory,  they could make it with their own hands! They visited the center of county, Nyíregyháza and had a sightseeing tour in the city center.
         – Nyíregyháza-Sóstó is famous for its thermal water, and has a great spa! In the evening they had a folkdance course in Nyírtelek managed by a countrywide famous folkdance teacher. In the end the pupils were skilled in the „csárdás”. In the evening our guests received the diploma of participation along with nice presents from Hungary.
